People came to me and said that they faced with a lot of challenges and roadblocks in trying to achieve their dreams.  Some of them being rejected from the jobs they applied to, people didn’t want to buy products that they sell, their contracts had been cancelled, partnerships that didn’t go well, being cheated, the death of the love ones who supported them, and many, many more.

Some of them even wanted to give-up or already given up and there are many of them who become discourage.  A lot of them that came to me and said “My dreams are worthless, there is no point to carry on.” or “Life is not fair, why everybody else find an easy way while I have to go through a hard way.”

Well, the truth is achieving dreams is never an easy path.  There will always be obstacles, challenges and roadblocks.  Because if the path you are going through is so easy it may not be a dream that is worth pursuing. 

Why???

Because these obstacles, challenges and roadblocks are the things that make us grow.  These are the things that that teach us about life, teach us to be someone better.  These are the things that remind us of our roots, where we come from when we are at the top.  These are the things that remind us to help others to be at the top with us.  These are the things that give us strengths even when we are already successful because there are always challenges even when we are already at the top.

There is a saying that goes, “Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength.” – Mathama Gandhi.

So to those who came to me and said that they are giving up because they encounter with to many rejections, they are fed-up being rejected,  what I say is, “Reject rejection.”  Think of it this way, there must be a good reason why it happens.  Maybe the boss is not as good as you see him externally, maybe the job is not the best as it seems to be, maybe you are going to create a better product that will make your a millionaire because of these rejections or maybe this is the turning point for you to take better steps. 

And remember this, when the time comes that something that you want, will want you.  So never ever give-up.

Someday you will build success.

Hi all

I think it is still not too late to wish all of you a very happy 2010.

I had been busy for the past 12 days preparing for this year training schedule and had been going around meeting with other training providers.

I hope that all of you had a very good start this year and at the moment your spirit, energy, motivation and momentum are very high to achieve your goals this year. 

Everything is ready and set to go…

I know I am

For me this year is the year for results to all the works I had done last year.  However it doesn’t mean that I am going to stop and relax this year.  Oh!!!! No!!!! I am going to keep on working and improving so that I can keep the momentum going…

Because if I stop working now, stop taking actions then all the momentums that I had built, all the works that had been done last year will be lost.  And by the end of 2010, I will have to start over again.

This is what success means.  This is what building positive personality means.  It means that you will keep on going even when you already achieve success. 

Successful people will keep going even though they are already successful.

Do you see Warren Buffett stop working?  Do you hear about Bill Gates doing nothing?  Well, maybe he is doing something else but he is still working but only with a different goal or purpose.

That is what being successful and happy is all about.  When you achieve your goals, you set another goal to achieve; a bigger and better goal.

And this is why most people failed.  When they had achieved their goals for example became a millionaire, they stopped.  Not knowing what to do next. 

And there were also people who met with challenges and roadblocks on their way to achieve their goals and they stopped, gave-up; did something else. 

Sometimes they didn’t realized that if they overcame that challenges or that roadblocks, they may had achieved their goals or their dreams.

This remind me of the story “3 feet from gold” in the Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.

You know, I always think of this story everytime I faced with challenges or roadblocks.  It really motivates me to keep going.

And that is what building positive personality means.  It means that you will keep on going whether you already achieve success or face with challenges.  You never stop or change your goals.

If you believe and know what you are doing is the right thing, never stop.  Never give-up. 

Because one day you too will be successful.

You see, it is not the success that you will all cherish and remember.  It is the process of achieving success…

Remember how your grandfather or grandmother told you stories?

They always told you stories of how successes were achieved, the processes not the success itself.  It is what success it all about.

Well… My final post for 2009.

Ha… Ha… Ha…

Anyway, hope all your dreams and goals that you set on the New Year Eve of 2009 have come true. 

If you have not achieve all yet, well put them into your 2010 resolutions and take actions (more actions than in 2009) to achieve them.  I know that’s what I am going.

However if you have not taken any action to make your resolutions or dreams or goals happened … Well, you should be ashame of yourself!  Wake up! It is almost the end of 2009 and 2010 is coming!

Unfortunately the past is in the past.  There’s nothing you can do about it. 

What you can do now is renew those 2009’s resolutions and make sure you take actions in 2010.  And the first thing that you need to do is change your habits, habits that lead you to where you are now.

Start making new goals or resolutions or targets for 2010.  Why because that is how we become better person and to make sure that we are always in the momentum to be successful.  When you already achieve your goals make new ones

As for me, I achieve some of my goals while others take longer time to achieve than I had anticipated.  However I am not worried, I am optimistic about 2010

Of course there are also frustrations and disappointments in 2009 however I am considering these as learning curve that guide me to become a better person.  Because sometimes the things that we really want may not be something that is good for us.  So always be grateful and take better actions next time.

2009 has been a learning curve for me too.  I got to know and became the student of John Thornhill, get to know Daniel, Steve from invinity, Kevin, Carol, PJ, Mark, becomes the student of Russell Brunson and many more internet marketers that I don’t manage to mention them here (too long list ) and also people from the ministries and many more. 

I get to know about twitter (remember to follow me at twitter) and also got to learn about body language from an ex FBI agent… How cool is that!

I think next year I will talk about body language too.  So stay tune

But best of all, I get to know you, share with you my experience along 2009 and the knowledge that I had learned.

And a merry christmas to those who celebrate it.

Well, it is 6 days before the end of 2009, time to make new resolution

But wait!

How about this year resolution?  Have you achieve it?

Have you go in diet to lose weight as you plan to do?  Have you been exercising as you promise yourself? Have you been eating healthy food?

Have you take the course that you have been thinking about taking? Have you pursue the degree or the master that you have been planning to take?

Have you follow your dream to travel around the world?  Have  you spend more time with your love ones as you promised them?

Have you eliminate the negative habits that you want to eliminate?  Have you been practising the positive habits?

Have you start the business that you always talk about?

Some people are committed to making new year resolution every year however when it’s time to put the resolution into action, they just look away. 

“I got a lot of work today, I am tired.  I am going to start tomorrow.”  And tomorrow the same excuse again and until one day you suddenly realize that it is the end of the year.  And you ask yourself, “Where does the time goes?” or “How can the time goes so fast… “  And your new year resolution is just new year resolution.

Having a dream or a resolution or a goal is a good thing.  It makes you focus on what you want to do, where you want to go and what you want to achieve.  However taking the action to make your dream or your resolution or your goal comes true, that’s the most important part.

You can have the best goal you want to achieve but without taking the action to make it comes true, best goal doesn’t mean anything.  In the end it leave you with a question why your are not achieving your goal yet?

So come on my friends, start making your dreams and goals and resolutions come true. Start taking actions to make them happen.

Good afternoon everyone!

It is a beautiful monday afternoon and I hope that everybody is doing well.

I was supposed to write last week but suddenly out of no where both my hands developed rashes. It was just itched at first and when I began to scratch it turned red and developed something like mosquito bites.

I went to the doctor last week and she said it was nothing, it may had been something I ate that I was allergic to.  I wonder what it was as I ate normal food that I always eat and I never develop any allergy to anything before. 

In the end I concluded that there must be something that I normally eat but this time I ate more than the usual portion that cause the allergy to developed.   Nice conclusion huh!  I don’t want to create any headache thinking about it

Well, how am I now?  The itchiness almost gone maybe due to the medicine I am taking but the rashes are still there though not as bright red as before.  I had to cancel my trip and a few appointments because I didn’t want to scratch like mad in front of people and the medicine that I am taking makes me feel really drowsy.  I could just drop to sleep even while I am talking  :-)

Well, that was just me developing self-consciousness and procrastination…  Even for a person who teach people about self-esteem, self-confidence and all the positive personality, I could sometimes develop negative personality too.  I am only human … but once I realized what I was doing I bounced back into actions.  So at last I kept the important appointment and explained to the other appointment and able to postpone them.  Luckily people understand.

You see, the most important thing that differentiate whether we are going to be successful or not is ourselves.  What is our habits and attitude especially when face with challenges.

When face with challenges some people just back-out and give-up whatever they are working for to achieve their goals.  Some people procrastinate waiting for some miracle or luck to happen so that they could achieve success.  Have you ever heard the saying, “Luck is actually something we create.”?

 However for those who have persistence, determination and focusing on their goals, they will do everything it takes to achieve their goals.   Like what I said to someone just the other day, “There are always challenges when we want to achieve success.  Therefore to be successful, we need to be flexible.  We need to be able to go around, over or under the challenges we are facing if we are not able to go through it.  Then only we can achieve our goals”

So it is important to really understand your personality, your habits or your attitude. 

For example, you may not realize that you are the kind of person that likes to procrastinate doing something and yet you are always wondering why you never achieve your goals or any success.  By understanding that you have procrastination habit, you can eliminate the habit and start to achieve success in everything you do.

One of the way to understand your personality and understand the negative habits that you have is through your handwriting.

Hi! All,

How are you today?  Hope that you are happy

Last week I was in Singapore for 3 days attending a seminar.  It was a very intensive seminar where it started at 9:00 a.m. and ended at 11:00 p.m.

Wow! I was so exhausted! 

Though it had been a tiring three days…  It had been a very informative three days and I met a lot of new friends.  Some of them are establish trainers, best selling authors, business men, managers, students and even millionaires

In the 3 days, I had conversations with quite a number of people.   During these conversations I found there were a lot of different opinions.  For example, some of them did find these three days seminar a waste of time and money as although there had been a lot of information given; there were also a lot of promotional for the organizer’s other products.  I had to agree with that, I even able to identify when the promotional begun and at what time :-0

There were also people who said that there were too many dancing and clapping instead of information.

There were also people who said that they learned a lot in these three days seminar and able to get great bargains in purchasing other of the organizer’s products.

There are even people who found their soulmate during these three days

You see what I am trying to say? Same place, same environment, same time, same situation but different acceptance.

All these people were sitting in the same convention center, at the same time, listening and seeing the same thing.  However each and everyone of them accepted what had been delivered differently and formed their own opinions. Some liked it and some don’t.

It is the same with our goals.  Most of us have the same goals such as becoming successful in our career, make a lot of money, become a millionaire, become financially abundance, famous etc.

However not all of us are achieving our goals. Some people are only dreaming of these goals and these goals become dreams that never become realities.

Why do these happen?  Because

1. Don’t know what to do to achieve the goals

2. Never take any actions

3. Give-up when encounter with challenges

4. Not determine enough to achieve the goals set

5. Fear of failure

6. Fear of too much work

7. And many more other excuses…

These are some of the excuses that separate losers from achievers.

Achievers do not give excuses why they could not achieve their goals, they give excuses of why they will achieve their goals.  If the achievers see that what they are doing are not moving them towards their goals, instead of complaining and giving excuses; they find different ways to make things work.  They also keep saying positive things to motivate themselves to move forward.

So which groups are you in?  Only you have the answer

Hi! There…

I planned to talk about something else today but this morning I stumbled upon a post in a blog that make me change my mind.  So I decided that the ”something else” could wait until next post.

There had been a few times where I heard people talked about (not saying who though ) starting an online business with nothing and become successful. 

A few years back I too believed in that.   However after all the experiences I had encountered and all the things that I had learned, I realized that starting a business with nothing at all whether it is online or offline and become successful is impossible.

A low start-up … yes but with nothing at all, well that’s impossible.

Maybe I am wrong, maybe there are people who are able to start their business with nothing at all.  And if there is such a person and that person is now successful, I do want to meet this person.

Why???

Because I want to learn his or her secrets of course

I agree that you don’t need to have a million dollar to start your first online business venture but you will need at least a few dollars let say $100 to begin with ;-)

You will need to start your business with something whether it is your money or someone else meaning that you loan it from family or friends (a legal way, ok…)

Don’t believe me that you will need some money to start your online business?  Well, for a start:

1. To start building your online business, you need to be online, meaning that you need to work using a computer and that computer must have access to internet.  Meaning that there will be electricity and internet cost.  You might say that you could go to a cafe that provide free internet service; however can you stay there for a very long time without buying something from that cafe?  You also need to pay for the transportation to go there, right?

2.  Maybe you could get away with that where you get free electricity and internet line, you still need to have domain to start your business. 

Ok…  You may say that there is free domain available.  Therefore I am going to ask you this, how do you like it when there is other people’s name in front of your name on your bank account?  It doesn’t looks right, isn’t it?  It doesn’t look professional either.

Therefore it would be better if you buy your own domain so that your business looks more professional and it is more recognizable by the search engine.  There are a lot of good cheap domain around.  I mentioned them in my 15 Secrets of Making Money with Positive Personality Revealed.

3.  You also need hosting provider to host your site, meaning that you have to pay for that too

There are also domain provider that sell both domain and hosting where when you purchase the domain from them they give the first year of hosting free.

I am baccccckkkkkkkk…….    

Hi all!

How are you doing? 

Hope you are doing fine.  As for me, I had been distracted for about one and a half months since my last post that was on the 9th September 2009.

It has been quite some time… However I am still here, my blog is still alive and kicking…. Don’t you dare go anywhere

My mistake, I admit it and it won’t happen again.  I promise.  And I make a promise to myself that I am going to post in my blog at least once a week… at least …   :-0

There are a lot of things to share with you (such as what I had been doing for the last one and a half months) and there are a lot of projects that I have started that I need to complete.  However with so many things going on at the same time and with nobody to delegate them to, I end-up doing not as much as what I had planned…

That’s bad….

It is also not good for my reputation as a internet marketer, author and trainer

And too many things going on at the same time or too many things I want to do at one time could be seen in my handwriting…

Too many projects going at one time

I have to agree with that as people said “Two heads are better than one”.

So… I will leave you with this so that I could sit back, re-schedule everything in my head and on the papers

Hope you are doing great!!!  I am doing great too.  It has been two weeks into the fasting month and I am feeling healthier than ever

Normally in this blog, I talked about eBooks, my products and other self-growth subjects. 

However today in celebration of my new facelift website at http://www.amazingwriting.com I am going to talk about a simple way to build a website. 

By the way, be sure to watch out for my new product about building a website in more detail that is coming out soon

The first thing you need to have when you build a website is a header.  To me a header is important as it is going to tell your visitors what your website is all about.  

One look at the header and they will have a general idea about what your website is all about.

You could have a simple header or you could have a more sophisticated or even a fancy one. It is all up to you.  As for me, I like to have something simple but able to deliver the message across.

You could design the header yourself or pay other people to design it for you. 

There are a lot of website designers around; all you need to do is search for them. 

One tip to find a good website designer is to look at the works that they had done for their customers.  If the works that they had done match your taste and what you want then you could start to discuss and negotiate with them. 

It is advisable that you already have a general idea of what your website going to look like before you have the discussion with the website designer.  At least this way you can easily describe to the website designer what you want and you are be able to get the most value for your money.

I think someday I should start to offer website designing too  

Maybe I should start with designing the eBook cover first. Anyone want one?

If you good in designing and want to design the header yourself, I suggest you find a software such as photoshop, dreamweaver etc to design you header. 

Some people said that you can also do designing using microsoft word.  I am not sure as I never done that before. Maybe you can but in my opinion the result will not be as great as using a specific design software that will have specific designing features that microsoft word could not offer.

If you had use microsoft word to design your header and it came out great please let me know.  We can share it here with other people.

Until today, I never came across a free design software yet but if I find one, I will let you know in my next post

So now you want to design your header.  You may need some photos or just a photo or any graphic on the header.  There are a lot of websites selling photos, graphic out there, all you need to do is search for it.  There are also websites that offer free photos and graphic.  Maybe I’ll link them in my next post.

You can also create your own photos.  All you need is a digital camera and you are all set

If you do not have a digital camera but have a conventional camera; what you can do is take the photo and then scan it into your computer.

Or if you do not want to use photos, you could use other material or graphic to design your header.  Like what I did to my website header:

As you can see I use scans of handwriting samples plus some graphic.

In my opinion anyone can design a website.  What you need is imagination and creativity.  And of course believe in youself.
