Some of them asked me why?, there were also those who said that I was daring enough to venture into an unknown horizon; a 180 degree different from my trained profession and there were also people who bluntly said I was not thinking straight, it was a waste of time.

There were times after that especially during difficult times that I too wondered whether what they said was true and whether I had made the right decision.

Until today, there are still people who are trying to talk me out of pursing my dream and even said that my dream is a worthless dream.  They said that my dream is not going to bring a lot of money or my dream is not going to make me a happy person or my dream is not going anywhere or what I am doing is not the best for me and they actually know what best for me :-(

Well, I called these people a dream killer.  They don’t actually know what they are talking about or they are a failure because they may once had a dream before and on their first or second attempts failed and after that they never tried again.  And the worst this is that they believe that if they failed in their first and second attempts, everybody else who has dreams will fail too.  What make things worst are that they suddenly thought that they are the expert on dreams and they know what best for everybody else.

My advice to you is that just ignore what they said and even better try to spend time or associate with them less.  Because if keeping spending your time with them, one day you may start to believe what they said, begin to think that your dream is a worthless dream and forget about it.

You see, the person who knows you best, the person who knows your capabilities and the person who knows what best for you beside Allah, is yourself.  Some people who are very close to you like your parents may understand your capabilities by the only person who knows you best is yourself

And if you believe that you can achieve your dream, you will be able to achieve it.  Of course it would be best to have the people around you especially your love ones to believe in your dream too.  It will help a lot and make things easier for you.

I am not saying that when you have a dream, you believe it and it would come easily to you.  I am saying that if you believe in yourself and your love ones; people around you believe it too, things would be easier.

Because when you have a dream, a goal; there is no straight road to achieve it.  There will always be roadblocks, challenges, detour, hurdles, many disappointments and failures before you can be successfully achieve your dream.  This is where the believes and supports of your love ones are very important.  These believes and supports can keep you moving and help you up when you fall.

However the believes and supports of your love ones would not be enough unless you believe in yourself and take actions to move towards your dream.

That’s why one of my favourite quotes is by Napoleon Hill “Whatever the mind conceive and believe, it can achieve.”

I admit that sometimes your dream and what you believe in may not be the best for you but if you never try, take action to achieve it; you will never know whether it is the best for you or not.  In the end if you never try, you will never know and keep wondering whether your dream is what best for you.  Like Publilius Syrus said, “No one knows what he can do until he tries.”

So if someone comes to you and said that your dream is worthless and they know what best for you, assess their statement, weigh what they said, take the good advises and throw away the rest and move on because in the end it is your life, you are the one who knows what best for you.

Look at history for example Alexandra Graham Bell, Thomas Edison or even Albert Eistein; no one believed them and some may think that they were wasting their time.  However because of their believe in their dreams, their persistence and determination and also the actions that they had taken, they changed the world. 

So believe in your dreams, be what you want to be not what others what you to be; things that will give you energy to move forward and you will be a happy person until the end of your life. 

Logan Pearsall Smith said, “There are two things to aim in life: first, to get what you want and after that to enjoy it.”

All through my life, I have been doing things in this sequence. 

Well, let’s not talk to far into my childhood because that might bores you.  Let’s just talk about the things that I did from few years back…

When I first got inspired on writing a book, I just said to myself, “Hey! I want to write a book.  I got the data and information that I think is very valuable and I want to share it with others.”  So I started writing.  At that time, all I could think about was putting my book on the shelf of a bookstore.  Thinking back on that, I should have been thinking “Hey! I want to write a best selling book.”  Anyway, I have no regrets because my first book opens up a lot of new opportunities that I never thought of doing before.

Ok… Back to my story… When I finished writing my book, only then I thought of how to get my book printed and out on the bookshelf.  So I thought of finding a publisher.  It was not an easy thing to do.  It took a lot of determination and persistence from a person who didn’t have a slightest idea about publishing.  I had been rejected by so many publisher that in the end I almost got discourage.  During this time I took things one step at a time.  What I did was, I kept telling myself, “One more publisher today.  If I didn’t get this one, I’ll stop.”  But alhamdulillah, I never stopped. Until finally on on fine morning I got a reply from the publisher.

And that was the beginning of my first book, ”Tulisan Cerminan Personaliti Diri”

It may not be a world best selling book yet but I am very proud of it.  My first attempt I am still learning from this experience and I realise that I could do better.  And I am in the midst of writing a new book much better than this

Like I said earlier, by writing this book, it opens up a lot of new opportunities for me.  Before this I never thought of becoming a coach that shares information with other people through seminars, programs and talks.  I was actually terrified of talking in front of people especially big groups of people

However I learned and still am learning.  And now I am doing things that I never thought I would love.  One of it is sharing knowledge and value add to others through my programs, seminars and talks

Now I just love doing this knowledge sharing events

Though I have to admit I still have stage frights at the beginning of each programs but in the end these are the things that give me energy and drive to move forward.

Finally, I found the reason why to I was put on this earth; to share information and value add to others.

I still have a lot of things to share about Ready, Fire, Aims but I think we will continue that in my next post.

But one thing you have to remember, if you know you are doing the right thing then just do it.  A lot of people know that they are ready but keep aiming to ensure that they get the right target and in the end they never actually fire.  If you never fire you will never know whether your target is right or not and you will never have a chance to correct your aim.

As you all may have notice, I have not written in my blog for almost 6 months… A lot of people kept asking me the reason why?  Whether I am alright? Whether I have changed my blog? Or whether I am not writing anymore.

The truth is, it is none of the above.  What’s really happened was that I just lost my dad in early December 2010.  Before that he had been very ill so I decided to put everything on hold so that I could help my mom and sister took care of him.  It had been the hardest time of our life but we were grateful for it as we were able to be with him in the last moments of his life.

Although he had passed away 3 months ago, I am still not able to talk about him without crying.  Although he had been sick for quite some times and we had long expected for the worst, but when it happened; it was still a shock to us.

There are a lot of things that I will never get a chance to say to my dad or even show to him but I am taking this opportunity to write something about his as a tribute to him and of the happy memories that he left us.

One thing that I learned from my dad is persistency.  When my dad set his mind to do something or to achieve something, he did the best that he could to achieve it.  He would not stop until he got what he wanted even if he had to stay awake all night long.  

But the best thing that I had ever learned and received from my dad was becoming the kind of person I am today…  He taught me to always improved myself and do everything the best that I can and leave everything else to Allah. 

When I was a kid, I always cried when I did not achieved what I wanted or focused on.  When that happened, my dad always said this, “I know that you already work very hard and you have done your very best.  Maybe if you do something different, you will get what you want or you will get what you want when the time is right.  Whatever the situation is, always remember this… Everything happens for a reason and only Allah know what’s best for you.  You may not achieve what you want today but always look back and see what you have become in achieving what you want.  You may not get what you want today but if you are grateful and work better, you will achieve better things that you have never dream of achieving before.”

Thank you dad for all those years and helping me become who I am today.

My last post was on 8th February 2010 and it had been almost 3 weeks before I got the chance to write something today

I had been travelling these past few weeks and I am going to travel again tomorrow.

I must start to think about having a team as what I discussed before :-0

Well, the truth is I already started to form some kind of mastermind group.  These people are the one promoting my trainings now.  So currently I am leaving to these people to do what they are good at… doing marketing and I doing what I am good at, talking to people, do presentations and inspiring people

So the next thing I need to think about is having a team for my internet marketing…

You see when you surround yourself with experts, people who are good at what they are doing; your life becomes easier and you will start achieving what you want to achieve.

Because nobody is actually good at doing everything themselves.  It’s good to know what you want others to do for you but doing the real job, you got to leave it to the experts.

All successful people had some kind of mastermind group.  It does not have to be a big group; two people can also form a mastermind group.  So it is not that difficult…isn’t it?

So take the actions now!  If you need to form a group to help you be successful then do it, what are you waiting for.  But one thing you must remember is that if you want people to help you be successful, you must also be ready to help these people be successful too.   So that everyone can become successful

So if you want to be successful start taking actions.  Do what you already plan to do; don’t just stop at planning stage ok, keep moving.  There will be a lot of obstacles and challenges of course but never ever give-up.

Well… My final post for 2009.

Gotcha there!

Ha… Ha… Ha…

Anyway, hope all your dreams and goals that you set on the New Year Eve of 2009 have come true. 

If you have not achieve all yet, well put them into your 2010 resolutions and take actions (more actions than in 2009) to achieve them.  I know that’s what I am going.

However if you have not taken any action to make your resolutions or dreams or goals happened … Well, you should be ashame of yourself!  Wake up! It is almost the end of 2009 and 2010 is coming!

Unfortunately the past is in the past.  There’s nothing you can do about it. 

What you can do now is renew those 2009′s resolutions and make sure you take actions in 2010.  And the first thing that you need to do is change your habits, habits that lead you to where you are now.

As for me, I achieve some of my goals while others take longer time to achieve than I had anticipated.  However I am not worried, I am optimistic about 2010

Of course there are also frustrations and disappointments in 2009 however I am considering these as learning curve that guide me to become a better person.  Because sometimes the things that we really want may not be something that is good for us.  So always be grateful and take better actions next time.

2009 has been a learning curve for me too.  I got to know and became the student of John Thornhill, get to know Daniel, Steve from invinity, Kevin, Carol, PJ, Mark, becomes the student of Russell Brunson and many more internet marketers that I don’t manage to mention them here (too long list ) and also people from the ministries and many more. 

I get to know about twitter (remember to follow me at twitter) and also got to learn about body language from an ex FBI agent… How cool is that!

I think next year I will talk about body language too.  So stay tune

But best of all, I get to know you, share with you my experience along 2009 and the knowledge that I had learned.

And a merry christmas to those who celebrate it.

Well, it is 6 days before the end of 2009, time to make new resolution

But wait!

How about this year resolution?  Have you achieve it?

Have you go in diet to lose weight as you plan to do?  Have you been exercising as you promise yourself? Have you been eating healthy food?

Have you take the course that you have been thinking about taking? Have you pursue the degree or the master that you have been planning to take?

Have you follow your dream to travel around the world?  Have  you spend more time with your love ones as you promised them?

Have you eliminate the negative habits that you want to eliminate?  Have you been practising the positive habits?

Have you start the business that you always talk about?

Some people are committed to making new year resolution every year however when it’s time to put the resolution into action, they just look away. 

“I got a lot of work today, I am tired.  I am going to start tomorrow.”  And tomorrow the same excuse again and until one day you suddenly realize that it is the end of the year.  And you ask yourself, “Where does the time goes?” or “How can the time goes so fast… “  And your new year resolution is just new year resolution.

Having a dream or a resolution or a goal is a good thing.  It makes you focus on what you want to do, where you want to go and what you want to achieve.  However taking the action to make your dream or your resolution or your goal comes true, that’s the most important part.

You can have the best goal you want to achieve but without taking the action to make it comes true, best goal doesn’t mean anything.  In the end it leave you with a question why your are not achieving your goal yet?

So come on my friends, start making your dreams and goals and resolutions come true. Start taking actions to make them happen.

It is a beautiful monday afternoon and I hope that everybody is doing well.

I was supposed to write last week but suddenly out of no where both my hands developed rashes. It was just itched at first and when I began to scratch it turned red and developed something like mosquito bites.

I went to the doctor last week and she said it was nothing, it may had been something I ate that I was allergic to.  I wonder what it was as I ate normal food that I always eat and I never develop any allergy to anything before. 

In the end I concluded that there must be something that I normally eat but this time I ate more than the usual portion that cause the allergy to developed.   Nice conclusion huh!  I don’t want to create any headache thinking about it

Well, how am I now?  The itchiness almost gone maybe due to the medicine I am taking but the rashes are still there though not as bright red as before.  I had to cancel my trip and a few appointments because I didn’t want to scratch like mad in front of people and the medicine that I am taking makes me feel really drowsy.  I could just drop to sleep even while I am talking  :-)

Well, that was just me developing self-consciousness and procrastination…  Even for a person who teach people about self-esteem, self-confidence and all the positive personality, I could sometimes develop negative personality too.  I am only human … but once I realized what I was doing I bounced back into actions.  So at last I kept the important appointment and explained to the other appointment and able to postpone them.  Luckily people understand.

You see, the most important thing that differentiate whether we are going to be successful or not is ourselves.  What is our habits and attitude especially when face with challenges.

When face with challenges some people just back-out and give-up whatever they are working for to achieve their goals.  Some people procrastinate waiting for some miracle or luck to happen so that they could achieve success.  Have you ever heard the saying, “Luck is actually something we create.”?

 However for those who have persistence, determination and focusing on their goals, they will do everything it takes to achieve their goals.   Like what I said to someone just the other day, “There are always challenges when we want to achieve success.  Therefore to be successful, we need to be flexible.  We need to be able to go around, over or under the challenges we are facing if we are not able to go through it.  Then only we can achieve our goals”

So it is important to really understand your personality, your habits or your attitude. 

For example, you may not realize that you are the kind of person that likes to procrastinate doing something and yet you are always wondering why you never achieve your goals or any success.  By understanding that you have procrastination habit, you can eliminate the habit and start to achieve success in everything you do.

How are you today?  Hope that you are happy

Last week I was in Singapore for 3 days attending a seminar.  It was a very intensive seminar where it started at 9:00 a.m. and ended at 11:00 p.m.

Wow! I was so exhausted! 

Though it had been a tiring three days…  It had been a very informative three days and I met a lot of new friends.  Some of them are establish trainers, best selling authors, business men, managers, students and even millionaires

In the 3 days, I had conversations with quite a number of people.   During these conversations I found there were a lot of different opinions.  For example, some of them did find these three days seminar a waste of time and money as although there had been a lot of information given; there were also a lot of promotional for the organizer’s other products.  I had to agree with that, I even able to identify when the promotional begun and at what time :-0

There were also people who said that there were too many dancing and clapping instead of information.

There were also people who said that they learned a lot in these three days seminar and able to get great bargains in purchasing other of the organizer’s products.

There are even people who found their soulmate during these three days

You see what I am trying to say? Same place, same environment, same time, same situation but different acceptance.

All these people were sitting in the same convention center, at the same time, listening and seeing the same thing.  However each and everyone of them accepted what had been delivered differently and formed their own opinions. Some liked it and some don’t.

It is the same with our goals.  Most of us have the same goals such as becoming successful in our career, make a lot of money, become a millionaire, become financially abundance, famous etc.

However not all of us are achieving our goals. Some people are only dreaming of these goals and these goals become dreams that never become realities.

Why do these happen?  Because

1. Don’t know what to do to achieve the goals

2. Never take any actions

3. Give-up when encounter with challenges

4. Not determine enough to achieve the goals set

5. Fear of failure

6. Fear of too much work

7. And many more other excuses…

These are some of the excuses that separate losers from achievers.

Achievers do not give excuses why they could not achieve their goals, they give excuses of why they will achieve their goals.  If the achievers see that what they are doing are not moving them towards their goals, instead of complaining and giving excuses; they find different ways to make things work.  They also keep saying positive things to motivate themselves to move forward.

So which groups are you in?  Only you have the answer

It has been quite sometimes since I last wrote.

Remember I told you that I was invited to the National Library the last two weeks. 

Well, it had been quite an experience.

I met a lot of different people, different attitude and of course different types of handwriting

But most of all in the event I became face to face sales person.  I got to put what I have learned in “The Art of Closing Sales” into practise.  Which was hard at first as I never done face to face selling before

It was a great experience and the main thing I learned was that whether it was selling online or offline, you need to be determine, persistence and really want to help the other person advance in their life.

Which is why I created “Secret of Making Money with Personality Revealed”.

Speaking of National Library, my eBooks, books etc, recently I did a brief calculation.

Do you know that one of the way to be successful is to learn?  One way to learn is through reading (other that going to training, seminars, schools etc).

If you want to make a habit out of reading but you do not have the time to do it, this is what I came out with when I did the brief calculation:

Let say you are a very busy person but surely you could spare 30 minutes of your time every day.

Imagine spending 15 minutes in the morning i.e. before you go to work and 15 minutes at night before you go to sleep reading.

You will get 30 minutes of reading time a day.  If you practise this everyday, you will get 3 hours and 30 minutes a week.  And if you carry on with this habit, you will get 15 hours of reading a month (consider a month = 30 days) and that will be 180 hours a year.

Phew! That is a lot of reading hours.

Now lets go a bit further.  For example you could read 5 pages in 15 minutes, that would make 10 pages a day which will be 3600 pages a year.

If the average pages in the books you are reading are 200 pages per book then you would have been reading 18 books a year.

So you see, it doesn’t take a lot of effort to create a good habit.  All it takes is practise and determination.

To be successful, one of the thing to do is to learn as there is no such thing called ‘success pill’ where you could consume it and become instant success.  Even if there is such thing than your success will not last long.  As you never know the meaning of work behind it.

So if you want to achieve your dream start learning on how to achieve it.

Hope you all are doing fine

It has been more than a week since I last wrote.

The reason is that I was busy updating my website at http://www.amazingwriting.com .  Go there, there are a lot of new information added about handwriting analysis that are useful to you.  I am confident about that

I was also busy designing a basic of handwriting analysis workshop specifically for parents and added that into my website.  Goto http://www.amazingwriting.com/seminar_parent.html to find out more about this workshop.

Why am I organising this workshop?

Well, I am not a parent yet but I have a lot of nieces and nephews therefore I understand what you parents are going through.

These are some of the situations that you might encounter….

Your children do not want to listem to what you said however when it comes to their friends, they would do anything for their friends.

You do not understand why is it so difficult for your children to understand a simple maths problem and yet they could build the aeroplane model you bought them.

You find that your children are very bright and yet their class teachers keep complaining that they are the one who creates problems in class.

You sense that your children are having problems however you do not know how to talk to them as when you asked; they said, “No problem.”

You are worried about your daughter dating a guy that your gut feeling couldn’t trust and yet you do not have a way to prove this.

And there are much more….

Well, you are good parents.  You are always worried about your children.  You want the best for your children and yet you respect them as a human being.  You want to help them make the right decision and yet you want them to be able to survive on their own.

Everybody could see that…  That’s why I said you are good parents.

That’s why I am going to share with you a way to develop your children. You are going to understand your children better, from a different angle, your children will respect you for that, you improve your relationships with them and you will even develop yourself to be a better person during this process.

And how am I going to do that?  Through their handwriting

Let’s take a simple example so that you would understand.

Your son doesn’t understand the math problems that you are teaching him.  To you the problems are so simple and yet you son couldn’t get it.  You repeat on the solution so many times and yet he still couldn’t understand.  In the end, he lose his interest, set in his mind that maths are not for him and you get frustrated.

However when you analyse his handwriting, you find that his thinking pattern is to learn things step-by-step.  He needs to learn starting from page one, go to page two and so on…  He could not miss a step or he would not understand at all.  He would understand things better if he could do it himself instead of just standing there looking at other people do it. 

However once he understands the problem or the subject, he could remember it for a very long time and would be able to build other things from this understanding.

Additional to this, his handwriting shows that he doesn’t believe in himself.  He doesn’t believe that he is capable of doing things.  Therefore when he does not understand things or people are pushing him to move forward fast, his mind just goes blank.

Once you understand your son personality, you would be able to help your son.

The first thing you need to do to make him understand his maths problems is to go to the chapter where your son begins to not understand the subject.  From there you can begin to teach him step-by-step on the subject.  Once he begins to understand, let him practise on his own so that he would understand the subject much better.  Once he understand, you could let him, build his own method of learning so that it would be easier for him to learn the related subject.

You could also meet with his teacher, explain and find the best solution so that both of you could help him.

You also need to talk in a positive way to your son to increase his self-esteem. 

There had been researches done to show that one of the reason why people have low self-esteem is due to the people i.e. family members when they were a child kept using negative words to communicate. 

What are the negative words?  “You could not have everything you want” ,”Why are you so stupid?”. “You are so slow!”, “This is so simple, why can’t you get it.” and many other words.

Sometimes these words were being said by people who love them the most.  They were saying these not because they didn’t love their children but because they loved them.  They thought they were doing the right thing as they didn’t want their children to get hurt or they tried to motivate children to become better persons. However they didn’t realise that if these words are used too often, they would become a poison to ones mind and this is one of the reason why the children’s self-esteem reduced.  These words become more fatal if you could find sensitive to criticism and self-catisgation traits in the handwriting. 

In the end when the childre grew-up, they would not believe that they have the capabilities to achieve things.

Therefore you should start to use positive words when communicating to your son especially when you want to motivate him.
