Hope you are doing well. 

It has been a busy month and finally today I have the opportunity to write.

Before I write further, I want to ask you a question.  What is success to you?

Is success means making millions of dollars?

Is success means becoming rich?

Is success means owning multi-millions businesses?

Is success means raising healthy and happy children?

Is success means that you have a successful career?

Or is success means that you are happy with what you are doing and are happy with your life?

In my opinion different people would have different opinion about success.  Some people would consider themselves as successful when they earn millions of dollars or have their own successful businesses.  Some people would consider themselves as successful when their children are happy and successful themselves while others consider themselves as successful when they are able to help as many people as they can.

So you see… Different people have different definition on success and there is no right and wrong answers.

What’s may seems successful to me, may not seem successful to you and vice versa.

However whatever definition and opinion you have about success, one thing that we have in common is that when you and I want to achieve whatever success we want; we need to work for it.

We need to have determination, persistance, believe in ourselves and overcome any challenges and obstacles until we achieve the success that we have been dreaming about.  We need to be focus and not let our eyes off our goals until the day we successfully achieve it.

Therefore no matter whats success means to you, you have to do all you can to achieve that success.

Like what Vince Lombardi said, “The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.”

Recently I had the opportunity to attend a seminar in Singapore where I met people from all over the world and most of them are people from all around Asia. 

My new friends from all over the world

These people are successful in their own ways.  Some of them are successful parents, directors, managers, trainers, sales persons, husbands and even wifes.  All of them are working their very best in the things that they believe in and are good at what they are doing.

All of them have a number of things in common:

1.  Believe in themselves.

2. Determination.

3. Persistence.

4. Doing the best that they can.

5. Good heart.

And they all come from different part of this world.

So you see, you can be anywhere in this world but when you want to be successful, you will need to have the same attitude as anyone in any part of the world that already are successful.

Well… My final post for 2009.

Gotcha there!

Ha… Ha… Ha…

Anyway, hope all your dreams and goals that you set on the New Year Eve of 2009 have come true. 

If you have not achieve all yet, well put them into your 2010 resolutions and take actions (more actions than in 2009) to achieve them.  I know that’s what I am going.

However if you have not taken any action to make your resolutions or dreams or goals happened … Well, you should be ashame of yourself!  Wake up! It is almost the end of 2009 and 2010 is coming!

Unfortunately the past is in the past.  There’s nothing you can do about it. 

What you can do now is renew those 2009’s resolutions and make sure you take actions in 2010.  And the first thing that you need to do is change your habits, habits that lead you to where you are now.

Start making new goals or resolutions or targets for 2010.  Why because that is how we become better person and to make sure that we are always in the momentum to be successful.  When you already achieve your goals make new ones

As for me, I achieve some of my goals while others take longer time to achieve than I had anticipated.  However I am not worried, I am optimistic about 2010

Of course there are also frustrations and disappointments in 2009 however I am considering these as learning curve that guide me to become a better person.  Because sometimes the things that we really want may not be something that is good for us.  So always be grateful and take better actions next time.

2009 has been a learning curve for me too.  I got to know and became the student of John Thornhill, get to know Daniel, Steve from invinity, Kevin, Carol, PJ, Mark, becomes the student of Russell Brunson and many more internet marketers that I don’t manage to mention them here (too long list ) and also people from the ministries and many more. 

I get to know about twitter (remember to follow me at twitter) and also got to learn about body language from an ex FBI agent… How cool is that!

I think next year I will talk about body language too.  So stay tune

But best of all, I get to know you, share with you my experience along 2009 and the knowledge that I had learned.

Wait! Don’t shut down your computer yet …  I am saying good night as it is already 11:48 p.m. (according to my computer’s clock) in Malaysia.  So I am wish those who are in this side of the earth good night and on the other side good day

I was planning to write a long post this time however as I am rushing to complete my last minute preparation for a training next week, I have to cut this post short. 

For your information I was invited to give the basic of handwriting analysis training to a group of HR Managers so that they could use the knowledge to guide them in selecting new employees in their company.  The training would not certified them as certified handwriting analysts however they will have the general knowledge on the people they are going to hire into their company.

Of course there are other personality tools that could be use and handwriting analysis is one of the tools that could be use. When you use handwriting analysis to determine the personality of the writer, the writer does not have to know that they are being analysed.

Back to what I am going to write here… More related to the title today.  My plan for my blog is to gather all the necessary tools together here in my blog so that it would be easier for your to build your online business.  You could use “Secret of Making Money with Positive Personality Revealed” as your guidelines or reference and the other tools that I recommended here to help you build your business.

On the last post, we discussed four of the habits of successful and rich people.  So today I am going to discuss one more of the habits.

4.  The next habit that we are going to discuss here is enthusiasm.  It is being said that enthusiasm is the companion of success because when you are enthusiastic, it will show the confidence in you and it also create the extra “umph”; the extra spark in you that makes you great.  Another way of explaining this is that when you are enthusiastic in what you do, people around you can feel that you have what it takes to be great in what you do even though you don’t say anything.

Example, look around you and observe the people who are normally enthusiastic let say about what they are working on.  Can you feel that they are going to succeed?  I believe so.

Real enthusiasm is contagious meaning that when you feel enthusiastic, the people around you will feel your enthusiasm too.  It is something like a magnetism projected energy and this energy is what that makes other people to go a long with the ideas that you share.

In the handwriting, enthusiasm can be seen in the very long t-bar something like the below:

However not all people will really show their enthusiasm by being excited or through their movement etc.  Some people will show their enthusiasm quietly may be through for example the sparkle in their eye or the flush on their cheeks.

No matter how the enthusiasm is shown, enthusiasm sells.  And this is a good trait to have to be successful.

Ok… That’s it for today lesson.  Do not want to confuse you with too may input .

1.  Successful people set high goals and have high self-esteem.  They believe they can achieve the goal eventhough people around them have doubt and they able to see themselves fast forward into the future.  They can see themselves achieving the goals they set, hear the compliments they get around them and feel what it is like to achieve that goal.  If we look at their handwriting, their t-bar would be high (at least 2/3) on it’s stem.

2. Successful people also have strong self-confidence and they are confident to achieve the goal they set even with all the roadblocks and obstacles.  People around them would be able to feel their confidence.  Have you ever been around someone and you could feel the confidence that they have?  I think even when we don’t have the confident, people around us would be able to sense that too.

3. Determination. Successful people have determination as one of their habits.  It is the habit, a physical drive in doing thing to achieve the goals they set. In the handwriting, it can be seen in any downstroke of the letters that are substantially heavier or even longer than other handwriting samples or other strokes.

So far we had discussed 3 habits of successful people here.  I will leave you with these 3 habits for you to absorb and understand.  We will continue next time…
