Selecting THE NICHE
I used to give a blank look when people talked about selecting a niche. What’s a niche I would ask? I thought it is a very sophisticated word. However when I looked-up the word niche marketing in the wikipedia, it said that niche marketing is the process of finding and serving profitable market segments and designing custom-made product and services for them.
And suddenly, “Ahh… I see.” Finally I understood what niche means and that the niche is actually a product or a service or even an industry. You can use whichever word you prefer but the meaning is the same.
Let say we use the word niche today… It makes me feel more sophisticated 
In an online business or even offline business people always talk about selecting the niche that you are interested in and passionate about. However sometimes people forget to mention that you also need to select the niche that everybody else is interested in and passionate about.
Why???
Because if you want to make money selling your niche, you would need somebody to buy it. Therefore if your niche is something that only you are interested in and passionate about however nobody else does, well… you might as well forget about the money part.
What I just said may seem harsh however that’s reality. If you really want to make money in an online business or even in an offline business, you must sell the niche that people are interested in buying. Of course you also need to be interested in the niche as if you don’t, you will have a difficult time telling your customer about your niche. And most important if you are interested in and passionate about you niche, you will stick long enough with your niche to see it grows.
