Trait to avoid in the handwriting

So far I have been writing about the traits of the successful people.  I think it is about time I talk about the traits that need to be avoided in order for you to be successful.  Well, actually today I will be talking about one trait in particular.

Actually you could find out more about the traits of successful people and the traits that need to be avoided in my new eBook that is going to come out soon.

Back to what I want to write today. Oh! Yeah! The trait that you need to avoid.

Have you ever put off things that you need to do today to tomorrow such as completing your projects, send out your proposal, mowing the lawn or even saying you love to that special someone?  I believe that everyone, may have once in their life put off things that should have been done today.  May be for days or weeks or months or even worst years.  And in the end they miss out on something great that should have happened to them if they do not put off what they should have done.  And in the end they regretly say “I should have done that.”

That’s right I am talking about procrastination.  Procrastination is one of the traits that you need to avoid if you want to be successful whether in your business, your studies and even your life.

Procrastination can be a thief of time and can rob you from all the good things in life.  I agreed that may be sometimes you need to procrastinate things such as you need to go somewhere but you have a nagging feeling that it is not a good idea, so you postpone your journey to the next day.  Well, may be that is a good idea to procrastinate as may be your instinct is telling you that if you proceed with the journey today you will be meet with something bad.  However that is not a good reason for you to procrastinate everytime.

Once in a blue moon may be but everytime, there is no excuse for that…  The harsh truth about procrastination is that it can be the first sign of laziness.  Ask anybody especially the successful people, they will say that procrastination will not help you to succeed in life.

For example, if you procrastinate in getting your job done, you will end up not getting the raise or promotion that you should have been getting.  If you procrastinate in taking care of your car, you may end up stranded at the side of the road.  If you procrastinate to start taking actions to achieve your goals and dreams, you will end up regretting and become someone who will be saying “I wish I had done that.”

So you see procrastination or put off things will not help you get what you want but really makes you miss on the good things in life.

Of course sometimes or actually most of the time, the things that need to be done for you to succeed is not easy however nobody ever said that everything is easy.  If everything is easy everyone is rich by now.   Who would want to work on their project for example to build their own business when they can go out with friends or just relax in front of the television.  Instant gratification, that is what we need to have less and less.  Long term gratification is what we are looking for.

Ok… I can talk and talk forever when I know that what you want to know is where in your handwriting you can find procrastination trait.

Well, you could see procrastination in the t-bar that is written to the left side of the t stem.

trait to avoid

procrastination

You have to look at the whole page of sample to determine procrastination.  If 5-10% of the t-bar is on the left side on the t-stem then it determines that you are thinking of putting off things however will still get the job done.  However if 50% and more t-bar is written on the left side of the stem in the whole page of the handwriting sample then you will know that the writer will put off everything that is given to him.  Combining with other traits in the handwriting may confirm laziness.

So if you have this in you handwriting, as a handwriting analyst I advise you to change this.  You could do it through your handwriting or changing your attitude.  Either way it will work.  If through your handwriting, you would have to start writing  your t-bar exactly at the middle of the t-stem or a bit to the right.  Of course you have to practise this. Do it every day until you write the t-bar unconsciously at the middle of the stem or at least a bit to the right, don’t go too far right ok, as it will develop a different character in you.

Again practise this until you do not procrastinate anymore.  People claim that there are researched that said that we need to practise for 21 – 30 days to change our habit.  However to me it will depends on the person himself, how bad he wants the change, how much the mind wants it (that is NLP talking :-) ).

So bottomline is, it’s all up to you.  Change your habit and you are one step closer to success.  Unless of course you want to procrastinate that too.

Ok folks… Until next time.
