Where did the time goes?

A very good morning to all!  It’s a lovely morning here :-)

Do you realise that time could fly so fast if we are not careful?  Of course there are 24 hours for everybody.  There is no one that has 23 hours or 20 hours or 30 hours a day.  Everybody got 24 hours a day.

However if you do not use your 24 hours wisely, you would lose it just like that.  Just with a blink of your eyes and it’s already the end of the year.  And you begin to wonder where did all the time goes.  It is a sad, sad thing if that happens.

For example do you realise that it’s already going towards the end of May 2009?  Almost half of 2009 already gone. 

Have you taken the actions on the this year resolution or resolutions? 

Have you taken the course that you plan to take this year? Have you started to exercise in order to be slimmer by the end of 2009? Have you read inspiring and great books in order to improve yourself, broaden your knowledge as per your promise? 

Have you started to practice positive habits in order to become a better person this year?  Have you spend a lot of time with your family in order to improve your relationships?  Have you taken actions to start your own online business as what you had been planning?  Have you taken actions to live up to you dreams?

You know most of the times this is what we always do, in fact sometimes we are doing this every year.

Every start of the year you make new resolutions enthusiasticly.  During this time you are determine to achieve your goals by the end of the year.  You could feel that this is going to be the year that your dreams are going to be fulfil.  You even said to yourselves that this year would be different, you are going to achieve your goals this year and you even write your goals in your dairy or anywhere you can. 

You look at your goals everyday.  A new year, a new resolution, a new you. 

The first few weeks of your new year will be filled with planning and dreaming of what you are going to do to achieve your goals, your dreams.  You promise yourself that the old habits that do not contribute in achieving your goals will be gone.

Everything runs smoothly.  And then suddenly before the end on the first month of the year, you become busy with everything you normally do, problems start to arise and you promise yourself to begin taking actions to achieve your dreams in the coming month. And then in the coming month the same thing happens, you feel busier than ever, daily routine seems to be interfering your actions in achieving your goals, old (not contributing) habits start to set in and there is a small doubt whether you are setting the right goals. 

Nevertheless you still promise yourself that you are going to achieve the goals or resolutions that you set and actions will be taken in the beginning of the new month.  And the cycle goes on.

Before you realise it, it’s already half of the year and you are wondering where did the time goes?  You still hold to the goals you set and now is wondering whether you will have enough time to achieve it.  You begin to think, if only you could turn back time…

If by this time you start to take actions to achieve your dreams and goals then good for you.  You are taking a step closer to success.

However if you still carry on wondering where did the time goes, keep giving excuses that you are busy and that you do not have enough time, well we already know where this is going. 

By the end of the year, you will be saying that if only you have more times.  If only you have taken the actions.  If only things are not that difficult.  If only…

And you will begin to promise yourself, you are going to do it next year and this time you promise that you are going to really take the actions.  And by new year eve, you renew your resolutions.

Is this what happens to you?  If not, I am congratulating you now.  You are one of those people who are taking the steps towards success.  If yes, well you need to start doing something about it.

You know why?  Because successful people do not make resolutions, set goals once a year.  They set their goals everyday.  They look at their goals everyday.  They feel enthusiastic about their goals everyday.  They make plans to achieve their goals everyday. 

And the most important thing of all, that set successful people apart from other people is they take actions to achieve their goals.

There will always be obstacles a long the way, things will not run smoothly everyday, the actions that they took may not always be right they may not get the outcome they want everytime however they do it any way.  And everyday they review their actions to see what they did not do correctly or what they could improve.

They also have doubts about their goals, no question about that as successful people are also human being.  But they take the necessary actions anyway.  If things go wrong, they are going to fix it a long the way.  Not making excuses or blaming others.

That’s what makes successful people succeed.  Taking actions… Not some kind of magic or something special about them that make them different from the the rest of the people.

That is what you need to do in order to achieve your dreams.  Take actions….  And you will be taking the next steps to be part of the successful people’s community.

If by now you have not taken any steps to achieve your dreams, don’t worry because it’s not too late yet.  It is never too late.  All you need to do is start to take the necessary actions NOW

Remember, resolutions are not meant for new years only ;-)
