I am having a great day today, though it is quite hot here in.  The temperature shown on my desk is 32.1 deg C.  Wow! It’s really hot…  However I think I should be grateful.  If it is hot here, there are places that are hotter

Ok, what I am going to write about today is something a person asked me the other day, the day I released my limited bonuses to be exact.

The question was would it worth to spend $27 to purchase my product?  I was stunned.  Not because I did not know what to say but because the person asked me, the owner of the product.  What would this person expect me to say? Of course I would say my product worth $27, I created it.  I wouldn’t want to create something that is worthless to anyone as I want everyone who use it to have a positive impact and succeed.

Then I saw why I was asked this question, this person really wanted to hear how high do I see my own product because if I don’t see my product as very good, nobody else would.

So I answered  this person question with an interesting story of how I started with this internet marketing that lead me to creating my Secret of Making Money with Positive Personality Revealed.  Well, I told this person quite a long story but don’t worry, I am going to tell you a shorter version instead.

I first started to get interested in internet marketing back in the end of 2005.  At that time I had zero knowledge about domain or hosting or even about website. I actually never heard about domain or hosting before.  Well, maybe I had heard about them but never took much interest about them then.

The thing about me is that when I started to get interested about something I started to learn, do research and ask questions, lots of questions.  I started to subscribe to lots of newsletter, membership and even spend lots of money buying lots of products that people claimed could help me built my online business.  But none of them answered my simple question, “How do I start?” 

There’s really no step-by-step guide for someone who didn’t know anything but was interested in internet marketing.  All the products that I purchased seemed to think that I was already an expert where in reality, I was not even sure how to go from A to B. 

One day a friend gave me an email address of a person, a successful internet marketer to be exact. My friend told me to sent the questions that had been bugging me to this person.  This person might be able to help.  So I did.  And I did get a reply, from this person’s assistant of course   The assistant didn’t answered my questions instead suggested me to attend their one day workshop that they were going to organized in two weeks time and by attending that workshop all my questions would be answered. 

At first I was reluctant as the workshop was really expensive.  It was about $220 where when converted to Malaysia Ringgit was around RM740.  That was just for the workshop alone not counting the transportation fee to go there, lodging, food etc.  The amount was so big that when I calculated the total I could actually used it to cover my one month expenses plus some extra

However after giving a lot of thought and thinking that after this I could start to build my own online business, I closed one eye (I couldn’t close both eyes as I would not be able to see  and registered for the workshop

The workshop was quite good as I learned a lot from there (I had to learn a lot as I had spent a month money that I could use to pay my bills for example) though I was not able to ask a lot of questions due to too many people attending this course.  Almost all my questions were answered and I even understand what niche is all about (although no need to go to an expensive course to understand this   ).

But when I got home and sitting in front of my computer, I still not able to begin. 

Why?  Because I had a lot of information but it was scattered all over.  I was not sure which one was the head and which was the tail.  And I started to ask questions again, ”How should I start?”, “How should I design my website?”, “What program do I need to use?” and many more other questions.  In the end I felt so overwhelmed with questions where I felt that all the information that I had raised more questions in my head.  In other words I was still in square on but with a lot of information.

In the end I still could not start and all my efforts and money became a waste…. 

You see when you are a newbie and learning everything for the first time it would be better if there is someone to guide you step-by-step or atleast you should learn things step-by-step, start with the very basic first.  And when you understand the basic everything else will become easy.

I learned this the hard way, through an expensive workshop, through lots and lots of money spent purchasing digital product (the digital products that I bought are good however they became no use to me when I didn’t understand the basic) and even got scammed (well I am not going to repeat the story as you had heard it before ) .

To make the story short, I was frustrated  

I was ready to throw everything away and forget about internet marketing.

However while having one last look on all the information available; I began to be able to put two and two together.  You see, when all the puzzle pieces were there in front of you; you would suddenly realised the missing link and find the solution

That was when I began to understand where I should start, what need to be done first and so on (I am not going to tell the whole story here Maybe someday).  I started to realize it was not difficult to start my own online business, all I need are the understanding of what to do, plan on what to do and taking action on what need to be done.  It is so simple that I wonder why I didn’t understand it from the beginning.

Do you know why I didn’t understand it at the begining?  As I said before all the information was all there.  The reason was that everything was scattered all over the place and was not in the order that a newbie like me could understand.  Everything was all over the place that made me confused and couldn’t put two and two together.

These made me thinking.  I was the one with all the information had a difficult time understanding these, what about the others who may not have all the information,.  How could they understand?
